Why Bloom Now

I tend to say everything is simple. “Bloom where you are planted”, is a fact, where else are you going to bloom? You don’t get to get up and go “bloom” in your boyfriend’s house. The truth is you are carrying all that drama along with you. You don’t get to change towns or buy a new home to find what you are looking for; because every night you still have to lay your head down to sleep and remember that you have dragged it all along with you.

You bloom where you are planted by starting exactly where you are, and with what you have right now, in most cases is a lot.

Be Happy in this Moment

Being happy is not predicated on what you have, what you do, what you have to do, or what your living conditions are at this moment. Granted that is exactly what we think it should be. (more…)

A simple and holistic approach to finding your purpose.

I have spent my entire adult life trying to figure out this “purpose” thing. I have taken classes and still no dice.

Then the one day I decided it was time to give it all up, it showed up. The one thing I would do even if I weren’t getting paid for it. The one thing I spend all my day thinking about, doing, feeling, loving. It just showed up.

The one thing that had been a constant in my life, I couldn’t believe it. I had a purpose, I had a North Star, and it was there all along.

My work as a lightworker, a Personal Development Person, a Guruette. My goal to touch one person each day. It turned out that one person was me. And My North Star is you.

Create success today, plant and nurture empowering beliefs

I have always said to myself, everything heals in three days, or that I am back to normal in three days. Perhaps I should change that number to two days.

Three-day healing is a belief that has manifested in my life over and over regardless of whatever it is my body wants to heal entirely it takes three days. Three days to heal the surface of a cut, (I just cut my figure a few days ago) Yes, typing is a new experience with part of one finger out of commission.

But three days later, the finger was doing a lot better.

That is a belief I cultivated unconsciously and has held up in my life. (more…)

Make Someone Smile

I said, “Without spending a dime.”
Make it a goal to make at least one person smile each day. That is the base goal, anything else after that is extra. It can be a coworker or the homeless person on the corner. Do your part each day to share the light. This is a secret task you have to yourself, and no one else has to know you have accomplished this goal each day.

Say Thank You

It doesn’t matter if you can’t find one thing to be grateful for right now. Also picture me giving you an epic side eye because you can find at least ten things to be grateful for right now, so there.

The Four Stages of Happiness

There is a range of feeling happy; it goes from feeling good to Bliss Particles. I started to notice these stages when I took it upon myself to cultivate the happy habit

Feeling Good

Feeling good is not feeling bad, anxious, worried, scared, fearful, or guilty.
It means not anticipating feeling bad in the future, or remembering when you were feeling bad in the past. When you are feeling great you feel a sense of wellbeing, like you know you will be okay.

You feel in control, and know you can power through whatever comes your way if you keep a calm head, relax, and observe what is going on around you. (more…)
