Best Book on Manifesting
In January, I start reading one or more of my best books on manifesting or the Law of Attraction. I alway feel these books give my year a good boost.
While these books run the gamut from metaphysical to almost religious literature, one thing they all have in common is that the theories and practical steps they prove have worked for me. So I make it a point to start the year with a selection from my list of Best Books on Manifesting.
1. Ask and It Is Given: Learning to Manifest Your Desires
Ask and It is given by Esther Hicks – Understanding the work of Esther Hicks, opened the world of the Law of Attraction to me. One of the most important things I found in this book is the Emotional Guidance Scale, simply stated, the worse you feel, the further away from your Source you are, the further away you are from your Source, the further away you are from the frequency of manifesting. The Hicks provide tools to help you keep on the better side of the Emotional Guidance Scale and as soon as you learn to stay there, the sooner the doors to manifesting your dreams open.
2. The Power of Awareness
The Power of Awareness – Reading this book changed the way I used my imagination completely. Neville Goddard gives you step-by-step instructions on how to use the power of your imagination. As in other writings of the early 1900s there are lots of stories of people applying those teaches my mind-boggling success, each story contains instruction on how each person used the poser of their imagination to manifest their desires.
3. Wishes Fulfilled: Mastering the Art of Manifesting
Wishes Fulfilled by Wayne Dyer – In his book, Wishes Fulfilled, Wayne Dyer updates the principles of using the power of your imagination to create your desires to the 21st century. Dyer breaks down the path to Manifesting in the Five Foundations of Wishes Fulfilled section of his book.
4. The Wisdom of Florence Scovel Shinn: 4 Complete Books
The Game of Life by Florence Scovel-Shinn – this book is a short simple read that packs a punch. Florence Scovel-Shin explains the universal laws using examples from religious text, mostly the bible and moving stories of the applications of the theories she discusses in the book. The game of life covers, the definition of the three minds, the power of the word, the law of nonresistance, the laws of karma and the law of forgiveness, affirmations and more. This book was written in 1925, her work is considered metaphysical, but I call it a most read. Check out DailyVigilance.com for more on the works of Florence Scovel-Shinn
5. The Power of Your Subconscious Mind
The Power of the Subconscious Mind – This book by Joseph Murphy dissects the subconscious mind and breaks it down to smaller understandable pieces. I often find that when I know how something works or I can visualize the way things work, I am better able to implement theories I learn. Murphy also follow the thread that you will find on all works on learning to manifest, which is that the key to manifesting lies using your thoughts, emotions, and imagination.
6. Think and Grow Rich: The Landmark Bestseller – Now Revised and Updated for the 21st Century
Think and Grow Rich – Napoleon Hill’s timeless personal development classic is on the bookshelves of everyone who has dabbled in the Self Help industry. The quote, ““thoughts are things,“ and powerful things at that, when they are mixed with definiteness of purpose, persistence, and a burning desire for their translation into riches, or other material objects.” Encompasses every principle needed for manifesting your desires in that one sentence.
7. Manifest Your Destiny: The Nine Spiritual Principles for Getting Everything You Want
Manifest your Destiny – In this book, Wayne Dyer talks about seven spiritual principles for getting what you want. He then goes into detailed explanation of all the principles. He gives you step by step guides on mediation for manifesting, and summarizes each principle at the end of each chapter. This book is more intermediate or advanced reading.
8. Creative Visualization: Use the Power of Your Imagination to Create What You Want in Your Life
Creative Visualization – I included this book by Shatki Gawain on this list because she gives you a how-to guide on visualizing. She explains what visualization is and how it works. Since I know that being able to see (in your mind’s eye) exactly what you want, and induce the state that allows you to connect to the frequency of what you want to manifest, I believe this book will help those people like me who need to know exactly how things work and why.
9. The Secret
The Secret Rhonda Byrne – Rhonda Byrne distills the Law of Attraction to its bare essence in this book and video (I would suggest getting the video too). The book is more of a transcript of the movie with additional insights added. I have both and use the movie as a quick Law of Attraction pick-me-up at least once a year. I recommend this to all beginners on the Law of Attraction journey.
That’s my list of the best books on manifesting, I know you will find one that resonates with you.
